Jep, definitely working on one of my November goals..

My simple goals for November

As long as I can remember, I'm working on goals. Usually these are big goals such as weight loss, start my own company, work-out at least 5 times a week etc. I usually fail in these goals because I do not know how to achieve them.

That's why I want to focus on simple goals that will make my life richer and happier on a daily basis. And for the first time, it's not about achieving the end result!

My simple goals for November:

1. I love (hatha) yoga, but with my busy job it is really difficult to find a weekly routine for my yoga classes. I haven't practiced yoga for some weeks now.
Goal: plan two moments in my week schedule, so I have no excuse to miss yoga class.


2. I often have no inspiration for our daily dinner.
Goal: for more daily inspiration write something down each week in my cookbook (which is almost empty), this could be a simple recipe and try to make this recipe.

3. I have a room in our house that I call my office. Actually this is not really an office, but a storage room with a desk. I want to make this room a creative place where I love to work (ok, this is an end goal).
Goal: make a mood board for my new office.

4. My last weeks where very busy and some times a little bit stressful. People call me a workaholic and maybe I am (that's because I have a great job!). But it is also a little bit hard for me to let go..
Goal: work on my daily work-life balance: it's good to work very hard and also relax a lot in my spare time. My favorite words: work hard, play hard.

These are my 4 simple goals for the last two weeks of November.

A short trip to Bonaire

Last Friday I flew to Bonaire for work. From Curaçao it's just fifteen minutes flying, I felt like I just took the bus to another town. The first hours I had a meeting which was very useful. After the meeting, I was taken for a trip around the island and saw some Bonaire highlights.

Craft projects: Pimp your notebook

There are many ways to pimp a notebook. I love the girly and vintage style for my craft projects.

Day #16: On a crafty afternoon

Today I spend a few hours at my messy desk with some masking tape, glue, stamps, stickers and paper. There are a few crafty creations coming u that I want to share with you.

Our trip to Miami.. we had such a good time!

Top 3 things you should definitely do in Miami:

Visit Sawgrass Mall: this mall is very big and has great discounts.
You can go there by car or by shuttle bus from your hotel (ask the front desk).

Rent a bike: the best thing we did! Rent a deco bike at South Beach. You can rent these bikes from 1 hour till 4 hours ($5 an hour). This is so fun to do! You can find these bikes at Ocean drive.

Visit ocean drive: It's fun to watch all these people passing by. There are also a lot of restaurants with great specials! 

Hotel recommendation: Chesterfield hotel at Collins Avenue.
If you're looking for a nice boutique hotel at a great location, this is the place to be!

In a couple of days Max and I are taking our first trip together since we moved to Curacao.
We are going to Miami for a few days and I coulnd't be more exited.  We're planning to do some shopping (of course!), cycling along the beach, lunches, cocktails and dinners.
