Day 6: Today is creative

As you may know, I love making things by crafts and painting. Today I started a new series of floating wooden signs, they are available next week at the activity center of Morena Resort!

Day 4 - Today is colorful

Today we visited the 'houtjesbaai' for some driftwood to decorate our home and garden. With the dogs in the backseat, some nice background music and some phone calls (for the direction), we  have founds lots of great driftwood and natural stone. The handmade nameplates where attached to a piece of bamboo which then was secured to the wall. 

Day 3 - Today is sweet

I was playing with my two little friends Indi and Zomer this afternoon. I asked Zomer (she is almost 4) is she knew how to take a picture with my blackberry. With a little instruction, she took a lot of photo's of me and her little sister. Here are the results. They are so sweet.

Day 2 - Today is cozy

After a 'hangover trip' with the guys in Colombia, my love is home again. Today is cozy.

For my birthday, Maaike and Laura took me to a ceramic painting workshop at Polka Dots.
A week later I picked up my painted pottery and this is the result! Love it.

My 30 days project: a daily dose of blissful things

For some time I want to take more pictures of daily life and the little things that makes me happy. It's a shame that most of the time, only the major events in life are documented and the 'little things' in life often go unnoticed. That's why I will share my blissful things with a photo each day for the next 30 days. I hope you will get inspired to document your happy moments.

My super birthday!

I really had a super birthday. Last Saturday, Maaike and Laura knew to surprise me with a painting workshop of ceramics at Polka Dots. A day later I organized a brunch with snacks such as pumpkin soup, salmon and spinach quiche, sausage rolls, pancakes, brownies, carrot cakes, fresh fruit and delicious brown bread from the Dutch bakery. We all ended at relaxing at the pool.

On my actual birthday, June 12th, I was overwhelmed with b-day wishes, phone calls and skype calls from my dad, mom, grandma, parents in-law, sisters and best friends from the Netherlands. And as each year, my sweet grandma send me flowers.

Thanks to all my sweet friends and family for the sweet cards and lovely presents, my b-day was the best!

Things that made me happy this week

Hi there! There where many blissful things this week that I want to share with you. 

We have watched the movie: 'The Intouchables, that made me cry and laugh at the same time (You should really watch this movie!)

Our dog Lola has taken her exam and was the best of the group!

I had lunch with my two friends  Vera, Tamar and the sweetest baby Rosa @ the beach

Brought my homemade zucchini soup to my friend Maaike and we chatted all night with red wine.. yum!

Invited some friends for my upcoming b-day brunch.

I had a Skype date with my dad, that was fun!

Found a picture of me and Max, taken by a friend when we where @ Grote Knip (beach)

Finished my 'shopper bag' at sewing class!

Me and my friend Vera have been to the afternoon movie: 'Snow White and the Huntsman'. A must for those who love fairy tales.
